Slavery
This was in a sermon at Grace Fellowship recommended to me by my best friend Jennifer. When I saw it, it made my heart swell. As many of you know, I live outside of Atlanta, the number one city in the U.S. for child sex trafficking, last I checked number thirteen in the world. This is a problem. And it’s in our back yard. Again I advocate the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. Although the nation is in distress right now, the William Wiberforce Reauthorization for the TPVA, now a few years old, will continue to financially support its cause. This is a small amount of the budget for a problem that is only worsening. To help or volunteer with this cause in Atlanta, please contact Innocence Atlanta or Wellspring for Girls. One organization is doing great things to raise money and awareness, the other providing servicing and housing to girls who have been affected in this way. 27 MILLION slaves in the world today. Do something. Love. Make a difference.
