Coffee!
I don’t know how well you know me, but most know, I really enjoy my cup of coffee. I have one in the morning and ocassionally one after school, and on weekends and holidays late into the night. It helps me to live! It helps my night owl personality function in an early riser world.
There is a child inside of me now. Like the Bible eloquently says “with child.” God forbid you use the word pregnant around my grandmother. Vulgar insanity! Anywho, coffee now upsets my stomach, doesn’t appeal to me, and otherwise screams fallacy in its decaffeinated state.
WHAT do I do?!?!
A little uncouth, but Father please help me deal with this pregnancy. I do not feel like I am me, and I am in a constant state of illness.

Coffee is the best thing ever. I can’t really say I _feel_ your pain, but I can sympathize =)
Maybe some tea?
Yes thank you.
Tea must be my sub for now.
What about chocolate covered coffee beans or coffee flavored ice cream?
Good idea….but sadly my pregnancy book says ice cream is NOT a good source of dairy (who knew) and the beans would still be a lot of caffeine.
I might just check out that healthy choice cappucino ice cream though…. it has the word healthy in it!!!
Definitely try some tea! Maybe you can stomach it better – but still get some of the caffeine.
I have been drinking lots of tea! Antioxidants, and a lot of it is surprisingly decaf. I guess I have to get used to a new healthy me!
Do you like tisane teas? Not really sure how great they are for you on the spectrum, but I’m a big fan.
Never had it… but sounds like I should try!
I love love love “Bingo Blueberry”. I tried it once a few years ago at a tea bar called “Mindspace” – not sure if they’re still open or not, in the Virginia Highlands – but I know you can buy it at Tea Vana or other tea stores in the area.
