Dilemma

So… there has been a very big decision that has been looming upon me recently. I got married, I am making steps toward some career changes, and now I have to decide…. what to do with my hair. Lol, I realize this is an extremely serious subject matter. But. Short or long?

Seriously, I love my hair when it is short, but it is right past my shoulders now, longer than it has been in years, so what now? Cut it off, or let it keep growing??? I need your help!!!

ok. long hair is always advernturous. fun. especially ify ou have never had it before. (or at least, that is what i always think when i try to grow my out) but seriously! short hair makes you so happy! i felt INSTANTLY lifted from hell (only the hell in having to actully DO your hair every morning, rollers, washing, 8 years to blow dry and for what? limp persionality-less hair!) when i got mine cut. i know you will feel the same way and it would look SOOO amazingly chic on you! what about some like…flappers-style (40′s) cut on you?

Yup – what Pete said – let it keep growing. ;)

  • I love you with long hair. It makes you really look like a grecian goddess.

Ok, with my extensive knowledge of hair, as is indicated by my long, flowing locks, I say let it fro…I mean grow.

  • Nic:

I say keep it long, but have layers put in it that shape your face. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with that.

  • Whatever you do. Please at least leave a little hair. You know I’d love you no matter what, but I don’t know that your head is appropriately shaped for the full bald look.

    Love you.

  • I sort of like the shoulder length bobs in fashion now… maybe do that?
I’ve had short hair for years and it’s the longest its been for a long time now too. It’s getting straggly so I’m thinking of booking in next week for a cut too. Not sure how much either!

hmmm…it depends on what kind of hair you have now. is it thick, thin, straight, wavy, curly, course, fine.

mine is semi-thick and wavy. but i have an ugly natural wave to my hair that kinda looks like a bad perm grow out if i let it dry naturally.

short hair was more time consuming for me. its long now and much easier to deal with.

i agree with the layers. they can make all the difference. even now while youre in the grow out stage. have fun with it!

  • Andrea:

Thanks guys! I guess I will keep growing it for a couple more months and see if I can get to the past shoulder length stage…. If I don’t like that…. then I can always cut it! :)

  • I’m growing mine back out to my shoulders (or at least to wedding length). Let’s try this together! Love ya
